How to Design Custom Banners
Whether draped along the sidelines of a sports field, hung atop the bleachers or propped up by your booth at an event, custom banners are a great way to share your brand with a large audience. Feature your company’s colors, logo, tagline and even a cheeky message that scores a home run with spectators!
When designing a vinyl banner, it’s important to keep in mind your audience and the purpose of the banner. Informational banners are primarily for promoting your business or products and services and require messaging that is clear, concise and informative. Call-to-action banners, on the other hand, are aimed at prompting viewers to take a specific action and require more direct messaging.
Banners must be readable from a distance, so text size and font style is important. Avoid cursive-style letters and try to use simple, bold, clear fonts that are easily recognizable. The overall design of the banner should be minimal and should highlight your company’s logo, name, address and contact information.
Banners should be inspected regularly for signs of wear and tear, such as loose or torn seams, and signs of fading or discoloration. Regular cleaning will also help keep your banners looking their best. Use a mild soap and water solution, or a dry rag to wipe down your banner. Avoid abrasive cleaners and tools to avoid damaging the material. We recommend lamination to increase durability and improve color protection, abrasion and chemical resistance. custom banners
