The Mail Processing Clerk position is an important role because it ensures that parcels are delivered to their intended recipients. In order to do this, the clerk needs to be able to notice even the smallest errors in the addresses. It is also helpful for the Clerk to have customer service skills when interacting with members of the public.
When applying for the job, be sure to highlight your ability to pay attention to detail. You can do this by providing examples of times when you caught an error that could have caused problems later on. It is also helpful to have organizational skills and the ability to work quickly. You will need to stand throughout your shift, so it is important that you are reasonably physically fit for this position.
Mail Processing Technician
The Mail Processing Technician performs a variety of general office and facilities duties such as answering telephones, distributing incoming mail (email & postal delivery), maintaining supplies in the mail room and coordinating maintenance service calls. This role also assists with processing ACH transaction payments, assisting departments with submitting invoices and providing customer service.
This position requires working a rotating schedule and can require long periods of standing and/or lifting mail containers up to 70 pounds. Must be able to pass criminal background check, drug screening and medical assessment.
Processes all outgoing interoffice and U.S. Postal service mail ensuring proper routing and delivery to designated locations using carts or, for larger items hand truck or dolly. Operates mail center equipment to meter outgoing mail and maintains accurate log of outgoing materials.
Mail Processing Mechanic
The Mail Processing Mechanic position repairs and maintains equipment that sorts and distributes mail such as flats (magazines, over-sized envelopes) and letters. This job requires the ability to operate machinery; read and enter address ZIP Code data; and perform clerical duties such as change of address entries. This position is performed in an industrial environment and may require lifting and carrying sacks of mail or other materials weighing up to 70 pounds. It may include irregular hours.

Maintenance Mechanic
Performs maintenance jobs such as lubricating, servicing and inspecting machinery and equipment. May operate a variety of hand and power tools to perform these duties. Maintains records and schedules, observes safety precautions and works in compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.
Constructs, finishes, installs and repairs a wide variety of building items, structures and surfaces of various materials including concrete, steel, wood etc. Repairs and modifies equipment, machinery and plumbing systems as necessary.
Interprets prints, drawings, and diagrams pertaining to mechanical and hydraulic/pneumatic systems. Operates manual metal working equipment such as; drill presses, mills and lathes. Occasionally operates motorized equipment to assist in maintenance duties. Completes other miscellaneous duties as needed.
Vehicle Mechanic
Performing diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on vehicle systems. Using standard tools, equipment and test procedures to evaluate and troubleshoot mechanical problems. Performs a variety of routine tasks such as flushing radiators, changing oils and replacing batteries.
Maintaining a safe work environment. Keeping accurate records of clients, vehicles and parts. Communicating with client about service options and costs, and generating repair timelines.
Using a variety of hand and power tools to complete work in accordance with technical manuals and specifications. Must be able to read schematics and bills of materials. Performing inspections of vehicle and equipment to ensure compliance with state regulations. Passing pre-employment drug screening and government background check. Must be a US citizen for facility credentials/authorization purposes. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 3 years experience. our site
